Dr. Casper / Dr. Kowatli / Dr. Amigo / Dr. Camper Dr. Casper has been practicing Pediatric Dentistry since 1979. He grew up on Long Island, New York, where he attended the public school system. Dr. Casper received a B.S. degree with honors in the biological sciences from the University of Maryland, College Park. Dr. Casper earned his D.M.D. degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. He was elected to Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society. After dental school, Dr. Casper completed a general practice residency at North Shore University Hospital in New York followed by a two year pediatric dental residency at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in Baltimore. In addition, Dr. Casper spent a one year fellowship at the John F. Kennedy Institute at the John Hopkins Hospital. He is also a graduate of the American Orthodontic Society's two year orthodontic program. Dr. Casper has been married over 25 years. His wife, Jane, is a dental hygienist who works in the public health field. They have three beautiful children, Andrew, Sara, and Alexis. Dr. Casper enjoys spending time with his family and in his spare time swimming, biking and running. He has completed 15 marathons and over 49 triathlons. He is a lover of all sports and he enjoys giving patients and their families tickets to local sporting events. Dr.
Casper is a current member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry,
American Society of Dentistry for Children, American Dental Association,
Maryland State Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr.
Kowatli has been married for fourteen years and has two children, a girl
and a boy. She enjoys gardening, shopping, traveling and spending
time with her family. She has been a part of our practice for the
past five years.
Dr. Josephine
Amigo received her dental degree from the University of the Philippines
School of Dentistry. She practiced general dentistry in the Philippines
prior to deciding to pursue further studies here in the United States.
Dr. Amigo received her Pediatric Dental Specialty Degree in 1993 from
Boston University School of Graduate Dentistry and completed her hospital
training at the Franciscan Children's Hospital also in Boston, MA. She is
a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Maryland
Pediatric Dental Society.
After years of professional training, Dr. Camper has settled in our metropolitan area. Originally from Willingboro, NJ, Dr. Camper graduated from Morehouse College in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. He then attended Howard University School of Dentistry earning a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2001. Dr. Camper’s involvement in mentorship program as well as his community service efforts in elementary school led to his interest in children’s dentistry. In 2003, Dr. Camper completed two years of specialized training in pediatric dentistry in Howard University.
Dr. Camper’s wife, Autumn, is an elementary
school teacher. They have a son named Aidan. In addition to his
professional and community interests, Dr. Camper is an avid sports fan.
